The Conference on ship structural mechanics dedicated to the memory of professor I.G. Bubnov, who devoted long years of his scientific deliberations to the Krylov Centre, and 110th anniversary of the chair of ship structural mechanics at the Marine Technical University, St. Petersburg, is scheduled to take place during two days, 23 and 24 December, at Lotsmanskaya 10, St. Petersburg.

The cooperation will cover research activities related to ships and offshore engineering structures aimed at hydrocarbon development and production at Russian continental shelf.

Krylov State Research Centre took part in 20-th International Oil & Gas Industry Exhibition and Conference OSEA 2014 held in Singapore between December 2 and 5, 2014.

On 5 December 2014 the Krylov State Research Centre conducted the first practical test in its new Ice Basin. A symbolic ribbon was cut by the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgiy Poltavchenko and KSRC Director General Anatoliy Aleksashin.

Baptizing of Krylov’s New Ice Basin on the 4th of December is timed with the 120th anniversary of KSRC. The ceremony was conducted by the Senior Priest of St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral, St. Petersburg, Father Bogdan (Soiko) and attended by Director General A. A. Aleksashin, staff of the Ice Basin and related departments of Krylov State Research Centre.

The first system is scheduled to be delivered to the shipyard in June 2016, and the second system — in July 2017. The Contract total value is over 3 billion RUR.

The Conference titled «Russian Shipbuilding: from Academician A. N. Krylov to our days» commemorated the 120-year anniversary as of the Centre foundation.

The first inter-industry theoretical & training conference Supercomputer Technologies in Industry-2014 was held on 17 October 2014 at the Krylov State Research Centre. The Conference was organized with assistance of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
