Litter pick campaign to commemorate 70-th Victory Day

Litter pick campaign organized in the Krylov Centre on 30 April in furtherance to annual tradition of the Krylov litter picks was devoted to 70-th anniversary of World War Two Victory Day Celebrations.

The campaign was open with the welcome address of the Krylov Centre management: Vladimir Nikitin, Director General, Vadim Izvekov, chief organizer and initiator of Centre cultural events, head of social welfare administration, and Nikolay Voronov, chief architect.

Record number of Krylovites, namely more than 300 people, took part in territory improvement this year. Main activities were deployed in the Krylov Victory Square with the Monument to the Krylov employees fell during the Great Patriotic War to be inaugurated in a few days, on May 5, as well as in the square in front of the Krylov Centre named after the legendary Academician Valentin Pashin leading the Krylov Institute for more than 20 years.

The event ended in a lunch cooked afield and teatime for all the participants.
