The conference devoted to innovations and effectiveness in naval shipbuilding was held at the Krylov Centre from 24th to 25th of May. The event was opened by KSRC Director General v. S. Nikitin, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy v. I. Korolev as well as by Commander-in-Chief of the Northern Fleet N. A. Evmenov who addressed the guests with their welcome speech.

The papers on conference themes were delivered by representatives of the leading companies of the industry such as JSC Nevskoe Design Bureau, Kuznetsov’s Naval Academy, CRISM «Prometey», JSC Research and Design Technological Bureau «Onega», JSC «SSTC», JSC Shiprepairing Center «Zvyozdochka», JSC «Concern «Sea Underwater Weapon — Gidropribor», CJSC Galaktika Corporation, CJSC «Sea Project», etc. The papers were also contributed by Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific Fleet S. I. Avakyants and Commander-in-Chief of Black Sea Russian Navy Fleet A.v. Vitko.
