Composites: materials of the future

10 march 2017

March 02 2017 was the final day of Composite Expo 2017, the 10th edition of the International Specialized Exhibition on composite materials, equipment and technologies. This event showcased the latest achievements and developments in the Materials science and composite technologies. For KSRC, this exhibition was the second one where we participated as an exhibitor and demonstrated our developments.

During the exhibition, our stand was visited by the representatives of more than 100 various companies. They were especially interested in KSRC capabilities in development and manufacturing of new structures and products made of composite materials, as well as our capabilities in testing and certification of materials.

The exhibition was a perfect opportunity to share our experience with other participants, to set up business contacts with potential clients, as well as to discuss the prospects of further cooperation. In particular, one of the discussions regarded the development of new additions and materials to enhance the parameters of structures, to improve their strength and to develop composite structural elements.

The experts in this field have specially highlighted that KSRC developments are undoubtedly relevant and promising against the backdrop of current vigorous growth in Russian industry. The dummies showcased by our Centre were of genuine interest not only for shipbuilders, but also for aerospace experts and residential developers.
