The festive event dedicated to the 90^th anniversary of Baltsudoproekt CDB was held on October 1, 2015. Over 300 visitors including representatives of local government administration, management of leading shipbuilding and design organizations and Krylov State Research Centre took part in the celebration. The main guests of the celebration were the veterans of Baltsudoproekt CDB who devoted their professional life for the benefit of national marine shipbuilding, its establishment and development.

KSRC Director General Vladimir S. Nikitin gave a welcome address and congratulated the CDB staff on the anniversary highlighting their contribution to the strengthening of Russian Fleet, and presented the specialists with official merit badges for labor achievements from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and «Soviet Union fleet Admiral Sergey Georgievich Gorshkov» medals from the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

The Head of Department for industrial development of St. Petersburg Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations I. G. Nikandrov congratulated the CDB on the behalf of St. Petersburg Government. The Chairman of the Permanent Commission for Industry, Economics and Property of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg Yu. A. Gatchin, and the Head of Administration, Moskovsky District, St. Petersburg v. N. Ushakov also expressed the congratulations and attended the high-profile award ceremony for personnel and veterans.

The official program ended with presentation of souvenirs from Baltsudoproekt’s partners and colleagues. The event was attended by representatives of FSUE «Atomflot», OJSC DB «Vympel», Vyborg Shipyard PJSC, OJSC Leningrad Shipyard «Pella», Admiralty Shipyards JSC, Yaroslavsky shipyard OJSC, JSC MP «Zvezdochka», «Baltiysky Zavod» LLC, Aker Arctic and other Russian and foreign leading design and shipbuilding organizations.
