Krylov State Research Centre at RAO/CIS Offshore 2015

The 12th International Conference and Exhibition for Oil and Gas Resources Development of the Russian Arctic and Continental Shelf (RAO/CIS Offshore 2015) has been opened at the LENEXPO Exhibition complex. The Krylov Centre with its solid stock of arctic design projects and competences takes an active part in this highly reputable forum.

The Russian government is treating the arctic development as a top priority issue (with a State Commission established to focus on this subject) confirmed by the fact that this forum is attended by the core ministers and corporations like Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Emergency Situations Ministry, Ministry of Education and Science, Rosneft, Gazprom, Rosatom being the key participants of this event. Apart from the exhibition itself the forum includes a representative conference with two plenary sessions:

  • The role of offshore oil and gas resources of the arctic in ensuring the global energy safety in the 21st century,
  • Development of the continental shelf: science, technologies and production — beneficial cooperation

as well as 10 round tables addressing specific subjects of hydrocarbons exploration and production on the Arctic shelf, novel technologies and solutions, environmental safety, training & education, etc.

Krylov Centre’s scientists will deliver over 10 papers and presentation spanning almost the entire spectrum of the subjects discussed at the Conference.
