The meeting reviewed activities of the previous year 2014 that was noted for revival of the Young Scientists & Specialists Conference. This is one of the most important events in the life of young hopefuls at Krylov Centre enabling them not only to upgrade their skills and qualifications but also to develop corporate liaisons.

In 2015 the conference of young scientists and engineers is to be held again as an industry-wide event to include, apart from KSRC staff, representatives of other companies like CDB ME RUBIN, SPBM MALACHITE, etc.

Valery Mezonov, leading expert of prospective development department, spoke about challenges and expectations of Krylov’s young staff. He told about the contacts established with other professional unions in St. Petersburg like Youth Marine Council, Working Youth Council and other. He also shared plans of future joined activities, e.g., apart from the Young Scientists & Specialists Conference, another key event will be the Fair of Marine Professions scheduled to be held in autumn 2015 jointly with the Youth Marine Council.
