Krylov Center delegates took an active part in the 21st International offshore oil & gas exhibition and conference — ONS 2014 held in Norway (Stavanger) from 25 to 28 August at the exhibition complex Stavanger Forum.
The scope of the Conference subjects spanned all aspects of tapping offshore resources: prospecting, development, oil & gas export, maintenance & repair, research and engineering solutions, etc. Special attention was paid to equipment including floating & deep-water technologies. Environmental issues of oil & gas industry were identified as a subject of specific concern.
Exhibition stands of companies attracted tremendous interest of attendees. This format is perfect for networking to establish new contacts and keep up relations with traditional partners.
The business program incorporated a host of unique events: the conference, the festival, innovation awards, young professionals arena. An important part of the program was the Russian session staged, as tradition has it, on the second day of ONS. This time the spotlight was on Russian Arctic.
The first ONS Conference & Exhibition was organized in Stavanger back in 1974 by the Offshore Northern Seas Foundation (ONSF). Since then it has become a regular meeting place for the world’s oil & gas industry elite with unmatched opportunities to familiarize with ground-breaking developments in oil & gas production with an emphasis on offshore technologies.
