This test facility is intended for model tests of ships and engineering structures in variable water depths under calm-water and wave conditions, as well as studies on bottom scour around marine structures.

Tank Dimensions:

• Length – 200 m;
• Width – 16 m;
• Depth – 0–1.75 m.

The Tank is equipped with a towing carriage for towing models up to 10m in length (barge trains up to 20 m long) at speeds ranging from 0.1 tо 6 m/s. The wavemaker generates waves with wavelengths between 1–10 m and wave heights between 0.02–0.35 m.
